Philip Sage
Chief Instructor/Owner
Sa Bum Nim Philip Sage has studied martial arts for most of his life. After a few years of practicing hard styles, Mr. Sage developed an interest in a Northern California Kuk Sool Won School and enrolled in the mid-1980s. Mr. Sage attributes most of his success in martial arts to his teacher, Master Larry White. He studied directly under Master White for almost 20 years. Mr. Sage currently studies at the World Kuk Sool Won Headquarters under the guidance of Kuk Sool Won Grandmaster In Hyuk Suh and other Kuk Sool Masters. Mr. Sage is also a police officer, law enforcement instructor, and SWAT team member in Abilene, Texas. He loves teaching and has instructed hundreds of students around the world.

Joey Medina
Assistant Instructor/Manager
Kyo Sa Nim Joey Medina is a Kuk Sool Won Black Belt and long-time martial art enthusiast. He is the lead adult program instructor and he teaches awesome classes that are very high energy and motivational. Mr. Medina is in fantastic shape and he is an expert on physical fitness. Although Mr. Medina strives to improve in all areas, he is a particularly skilled kicker and excels in weapons and fighting.
AMAC's Dojang
"Dojang" is a term used in Korean martial arts to refer to a formal training hall where students gather to practice. AMAC's dojang is located across the street from Betty Rose's at 2401 S. 7th Street in Abilene, Texas.
